Hi. My name is Michaela. I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri. I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for four years, and developed a taste for haggis, chips with brown sauce, and scotch whisky. I now live in Indianapolis, where I moved because I fell in love with a church called Grace and Peace. I work as a case manager/advocate for homeless youth at an organization here in Indy, which is the best job I could ever imagine actually getting paid for. I like “Scrubs”, “Lost”, “Arrested Development”, “The Office”, “24″ Mexican food, intelligent movies, coffee, books, mountains, snow, art, photography, theology, laughter, open fires, travelling, history, road trips, writing and good beer (though perhaps not all at once). I miss Scotland, travelling, cigarettes, and my friends and family who live far away. I dislike pantyhose, Glamour Shots, overcomplicated cookbooks, cooked green peppers, and bad beer.

I love Ben. So I married him.

I’m a bit of a music snob, but if pressed I will admit to some great guilty pleasure songs.
