About

Hi. My name is Michaela. I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri. I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for four years, and developed a taste for haggis, chips with brown sauce, and scotch whisky. I now live in Indianapolis, where I moved because I fell in love with a church called Grace and Peace. I work as a case manager/advocate for homeless youth at an organization here in Indy, which is the best job I could ever imagine actually getting paid for. I like “Scrubsâ€, “Lostâ€, “Arrested Developmentâ€, “The Officeâ€, “24″ Mexican food, intelligent movies, coffee, books, mountains, snow, art, photography, theology, laughter, open fires, travelling, history, road trips, writing and good beer (though perhaps not all at once). I miss Scotland, travelling, cigarettes, and my friends and family who live far away. I dislike pantyhose, Glamour Shots, overcomplicated cookbooks, cooked green peppers, and bad beer.
I love Ben. So I married him.

I’m a bit of a music snob, but if pressed I will admit to some great guilty pleasure songs.
